    Any ideas where I would find said wires. Your thought makes perfect sense. Would this be in the MOTOR area (back) or more in the DASH area? It sounds like the alarm is coming form the dash or maybe by the Throttle.???

    I have a 2004 Glastrom MX185 with a Volvo Penta 4.3GL. When I turn the key to the ON position I hear the "normal" (I think) start up alarm. But the alarm goes off immediately once started. Just the other day, the alarm turned on while running. Temp gauge was high but in normal range, oil...

    I just stumbled on this. I'm having a similar issue on a 2004 Glastron MX185 with Volvo Penta engine. So I think VERY similar. Can you give any details about "replacing" switch, etc.? Where do I find it, etc.???? MOD EDIT: Please review the forum rules - this thread is 10 years old.
