    I have a 1997 johnson 115 hp spiecal model # xj115hxeua been having trouble with when the moter is warmed up and ran over 4000 rpm it looses power and if I do not nurse the throttle it will stall. I replace the primer bulb , the quick disconnect fitting ,spark plugs, wires and the fuel pump...

    problem with 115 johnson

    i have a 1997 115 spiecal johnson v4 that loses power when ran at 4000 rpm or greater below 4000 runs fine i replaced the plugs, wires, blub, fuel filter,and fittings at the motor which still seem loose. not sure if it is suppose to be that way are not. do fuel pumps go bad is the ? :eek:

    wondering what is wrong when the key is turned there is a click at the motorbut the starter does not engage turn the key a few more times it engageswhat is the deal is my ignition swith going bad or the starter
