Hi again. Im trying everything the people told me to do. But my boat is the same im trying to start the boat and nothing happened. My boat is a four wings 1992 omc cobra 4.3.
I did the tune up. New key stiwch. New coil. New selenoid, new distributor cap an rotor, new batteries, new spark...
I connected the new coil the same way I removed it, two purple wires on a positive post and a black wire and a black/grey wire on a negative post,
one purple wire and a black wire comes from the distributor, and the other wires (purple and black/grey) wire comes from a harness
i clean my batteries connections. i notice when i remove the coil my dash voltmeter show 13 amp but when i connected back show less than 11 amp. i’m not sure if i get the right coil. how i know if i need ballast resistor or not?
On the dash board the battery meter shows less volts than the battery and i try to start the boat and its sounds like it wants to start but it doesn’t.
