    02 Merc 115 Inline 4 cyl 2+2 fuel problem?

    Been troubleshooting a fuel issue for 3 weeks now. Replaced fuel pump kit(verified pump works) and filter, primer bulb, verified same symptoms with external gas tank. Also, the bulb will not get or stay firm! It will start up and idle for 5-10 seconds then die. Choke it and keeps going...

    primer bulb firms up, then collapses, what's up?

    When squezzing the primer bulb, it firms up for a squeeze or two, then collapses again. Friend told me it might indicate the floats are stuck? Could it be air in line or clogged tank filter? thanks

    FYI this motor, idles on 2 cyl, and other 2 kick in @2000rpm. I can't keep the motor running unless I pump the auto-choke at the key.
