    boat stereo direct to battery?

    Can i hook up a boat deck stereo direct to a marine battery? Can I use the negative post as the ground to the stereo? Should i put an inline fuse from the battery to the stereo?.................... Can someone please advise?

    Are there one or two magnets attached to the flywheel? I placed a screw driver to one and it is magnetically attracted. The other not so much.......Are there two and if so, do I need to replace the flywheel if one has lost its magnetic properties?

    I have the elec start. When I start the motor I give it some gas and it stays running but if I bring throttle back to about the start setting heading towards slow it dies. Any thoughts or how can I adjust?

    Switch wiring for 1957 big twin 35

    I have switches on the dash for start stop and choke. The wires leading from the electric starting junction box are 2 black wires, a red, a white, a green and a brown. I'm assuming the two black go to the stop , but I'm lost on the rest. Can anyone help?

    Water pump hose? 1957 evinrude big twin 35

    When I replaced my impeller I noticed a copper tube rather than a flexible tube people talk about,where the water goes up to cool the engine. Am I missing something or does this year and model have a fixed copper water line?
