I have a 1951 sea king 12 horse outboard it starts and then dies. The points are set at .015 carb cleaned and new reed valves put in. the longest i've had it running is about 5 mins. Just wondering if the coils are going bad but they tested out good. can you give me another direction to go...
I have picked up an 12 hp sea king. Looks like it needs new rings and coils. Are the parts that i need interchangeable with evinrude. Or am i barking up the wrong tree for this and if that is the case am I in for a wild goose chase to find parts? model # 15gg-9018
I have recived an evinrude sportwin the little brass plate states N 4644. Could this be the model and serial number and if it is could someone tell me the year and horse. The whole lower unit turns around with out moving the powerhead. how are you to lock it in place or is this how it goes...
