I have a 91 (i think) Mercruiser 3.0 which needs a new manifold and elbow. I need help identifing the engine year and manifold part number. I can only find the engine year by serial number to the late 80's. Here is the serial number on the block if someone can help.

I hooked up 2 batteries to a battery selector switch today and when i crank the engine i get a spark on one of them from the negative post to the negative post with the wing nut on it. Also should i have both batteries grounded to the block?
