    Mercury 115 HP throttle question

    I have a 2003 115 HP Mercury. My throttle is very hard to advance, but returns very easily. If disconnected the throttle lever is easy in either direction. Any ideas where to start looking?

    Spline grease vs 2-4-C & others?

    I am reassembling my Alpha One MR drive, gear housing to shaft housing. My manual says to use 2-4-C on the splines of the drive shaft, but I've also read somewhere to use "spline grease". I have 2-4-C, 2-4-C with Teflon & 101. Anyone have any input on which is best in lieu of "spline grease"...

    I just replaced my complete water pump (plastic style) on my Alpha One drive. Unfortunately I had a huge brain-fart and over torqued the three nuts by 2-2-/12 times (200 lb. in. instead of 90 lb. in.).     Alpha One "MR" water pump torque?

    I have an Alpha One drive (MR) and am replacing the water pump. Anyone know the correct torque for the three nuts that fasten the upper housing to the base? It is the plastic housing and the manual says 90 lb. in. That seems a pretty high to me. Thanks in advance.
