    -Bending Reed Stops-

    I hear that if you bend the reed stops slightly so the reeds open futher, can give a little more power out of an engine. Is that so?

    Please Help merc refuse to idle!

    I have a 15hp merc that backfires smokes bad and will not idle. I have keep giving it gas for it to run.     Mercury 15hp problem

    I have a mercury 15hp that backfires and blows a puff of white smoke while idling and even at WOT. I notice than when i let it run with the choke on it get a little better but its still bad. Does anyone no why this happens? How to fix it? I have a carb rebuild kit for it, is this the time to use...
