    90 johson 2004 v 4 high speed miss

    i have replaced stator, plugs and installed new carb kits. the motor ran fine the first time out. went to run next day and it surged and learched above half throttle. giving choke did not help. some times it will come out of it for a short time, but only for seconds and not often.runs great...

    Evinrude lower unit woes

    1980's Evinrude 70hp lowerunit froze when not running but dose turn a little when running? I am new to boating and would appreciate some input on what i am going to encounter when i dig into this lower unit. I am a mechanic but outboards are an item i know little about.

    I just got bought a 1970 silverline 16.5 wityh this motor. The motor runs, but when you put in gear the prop barley moves. but when you shut the motor off you cant move the prop at all. i am a mechanic but not too keen on outboards. any ideas of what i might be getting into?:confused:
