aside from bad rings or scored up cylinders, or headgasket,is there anything else that can cause low compression on a 2 stroke? i have a 4 and 15hp for a friend and both on my compression gauge read around 20-30 lbs.
i am disassembling this lower unit its a 93, and everything is out except the shaft, upper pinion gear and back gear, parts ive circled. what releases it?
its a 2 stroke. clean carb and fuel, new plug, anmd has good spark. but even with a shhot of ether down the gullet it will not fart, pop, nothing. would this be a pulser coil?
ran last time i used it. now it wont start, pulled teh plugs they look great and i have spark on all 3 cylinders, but no fart pop nothing?? its a F40BTLR

im helping a friend change his fuel filter, its a 200hp injected, when we started to unscrew the filter (under the colwing on the motor) it starts spraying fuel. do i need to release pressure somewhere ? and its a Ficht Ram injection system
