Just purchased 1996 200 EFI from family friend. I plan on replacing the impeller because he can't remember the last time it was replaced. Is there anything else I should consider replacing?
Has anyone had any success with preventing these from leaking? I have pulled one apart and short of stuffing it with silcone lubricant (not sure if that will work) I see no way of re-sealing these. I know the design has been changed along with the size from 2" to 2 1/2".

I have determined that I need to replace my regulator/rectifier on 89 Johnson 150gt. Quite a price difference in my choices. Any input would be appreciated. I've used aftermarket parts in automotive and appliances many times. Most were fine, but have had that bad experience as well.

I have just rescently purchased 15 hp Johnson mod J15RLCDE. This has a 5" extention making it a long shaft. Can the extention and it's components be removed with out additional parts? I've looked at parts breakdown and it appears to my eyes to be easily done.
