Motor starts and runs fine for about 20 minuets then when I throttle down it runs rough and dies out. I let it sit for a few minuets and it seems to run fine but eventually will do the same thing. I did notice a film of what appeared to be gas on the water after it stalled. Any ideas would be...
The trim switch on the throttle will sometimes work on the first try but most times I have to press it 6 or 7 times to get it started. Once I get it going than I am able to trim up or down with no issues. I just had the TPS and IAC replaced. Could the two be related.
Thanks
My 75 hp Yamaha outboard will stall out when slowing to neutral. Starts fine, runs fine just lately started shutting down when going in to dock. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks
