Does anyone have a source (USA or international) for the rubber plugs that insert into the filler valves on older Avons? These units include the plug and a rubber safety tab that slips over a fixed rubber nipple. There is a deflater (U-pin) threaded into the rubber tab. I believe these were...
Have just obtained a 1972 Avon Redseal in excellent condition.
However, it is missing two of the rubber plugs that seal the air valves.
These plugs attach via a rubber tab to a nipple near the valve. Threaded into the tab is a U-wire that is inserted in the valve for deflation.
Does anyone...
This beauty came as part of the purchase of a 1972 Avon Redseal.
Both the inflatable and the motor appear flawless.
Amazingly, after draining out gasoline, vintage 2004, the tank was refilled and started after a few pulls. But the cord would not retract.
The motor serial number reads 2302 B...
