This may be a stupid question but what prevents the water from going into the engine? Or into the manifolds etc?
Having a hard time visualizing the whole thing.
I have a 2003 Kayot with a 5.0 mercruiser. Last week while driving slowly a (2) beep audio alarm went off then the motor shut off.
