I bought it about two years ago. It’s really hard to pull start it.. A lot of friction. Had a mechanic come because it wasn’t starting, he said he fixed something then handed me the old rectifier said buy a new one and it will work. I had another mechanic come out didn’t know **** but said I...
No I’ve never been able to pull start the motor. It’s hooked up to a throttle control. The engine sounds like it wants to start but.. it dsnt. If it’s not getting a spark what do you think the issue would be?

Thank you. This boat was running a few weeks ago, wouldn’t start. The rectifier has a ground cable but do I also secure it to the motor I assume? I’ll go down and check it out
Man! Thank you so much. I am replacing an existing rectifier. I’m trying to finish a job that the shitty mechanic didn’t. I have the red down, but there are two yellow and one white existing “plugs” but setup isnt working, I tried different plugs . I need a mechanic ha.
