    Prop Selection...

    I have a 1985 18ft. Searay seville with a 140hp mercruiser on it. I need a new prop for. I did take the old prop off and the only numbers that I found that were readable were on the spline washer. The boat manual states that maximum RPM at WOT is 4200-4600 RPM. Because my tach does not work...

    won't idle

    Hi. I have a 1971 evinrude, 125hp motor. the engine starts but after about 2 seconds it cuts off. it seems to me that the carburator is not holding gas. Can somebody please explain what might be going on. Thanks

    Starter motor

    I have a 1971, 125hp evinrude motor. The stater motor turns on but does not engage the flywheel. The stater motor just spins. Can somebody please help. Thank you.

    EXHAUST OUTLET

    STALLING IN REVERSE

    I HAVE A 1962 EVINRUDE 40HP ENGINE. I STARTED THE MOTOR THE OTHER DAY IN A 55 GALLON DRUM. THE MOTOR RAN FINE. IT IDLED OK. I PUT IT IN FORWARD AND IT WAS FINE. BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE, IT STALLS. ANY IDEAS. THANKS

    OOZING OIL

    MY 1962 EVINRUDE 40HP MOTOR IS LEAKING OIL FROM THE LOWER UNIT. I LOOKED TO SEE WHERE THE OIL IS COMING FROM AND FOUND SEVERAL SOURCES. FIRST IT SEEMS TO BE FROM LITTLE ROUND HOLES ON UNIT. SECOND I NOTICE A BIG OPENING BENEATH THE PROP. IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE A COVER THERE.

    WHAT IS THE BEST PROCEDURE TO REMOVE PAINT ON A FIBERGLASS BOAT WITHOUT DAMAGING THE FIBERGLASS. ALSO WHAT IS THE BEST PAINT TO USE ON FIBERGLASS AFTER REMOVAL.
