    Bayliner Capri - no bilge pump?

    Can anyone tell me if a 1990 Bayliner capri 17ft. boat would have a bilge pump? It has an outboard force 50hp motor and somebody told me that I have a self-bailing bilge? If this boat doesn't have a bilge pump, what happens when you hit a big wave and water gets in to the boat?
