    Hello, My 1975 merc 115 seems to be running well but after sitting in the driveway I noticed oil leaking from the prop exaust.     interchanging solenoids

    My 115 (1980) merc starter solenoid has the 2 big power wires on it and a biege and a brown smaller set of wires comming off of it and going to the control box.<br />Ford Soleniods are useable but there are only three connections on them, the 2 big power wires and the positive switch...

    pressure?

    I have a 115 merc (1980) and at 1000 to 1100 rpm my water pressure gague reads around 11 pounds, at 1500 it goes to 13 to 14 pounds...as I increase throttle obviously it continues to go up.<br />Is this good pressure?

    fuel delivery problems

    I have a 115 merc and the front tank was removed for corrosion reasons before I even got the boat. There was a 5 gallon tank in the back so I bought another 5 gallon tank and mounted both in the bow. Now after priming the bulb my motor runs fine until the fuel in the line runs out then stalls...

    Hello, One of my lines blew for the power trim on my 115 merc (1980) and after replacing the line I filled the resevior to the max. I don't know if I was to do this with the motor in the up or down position so I did it with the motor down. Now the trim only raises about 15 to 20% then shuts off...
