    I want to up my hp to 90 on my pontoon boat. Can i install a same year mercury 90hp power head on my 60hp mercury outboard? I believe it's the same block.....Regards.....Tom H

    Pulling plug wire off while idleing

    I have heard that it is not good for the engine bearings to remove a plug wire while your outboard is idleing. If you had to check for a dead cylinder while idleing how would one do this properly......Regards.Tom8)

    Mercury outboard trim and tilt

    I just installed a NEW tilt gauge and a New sending unit on my 1999 merc 60hp outboard. All parts where Mercury Parts. The installation was a snap but my gauge is reading opposite of what the engines position is. I 180'ed the sending unit but that did'nt help. Any suggestions out there?.Regards..Tom
