my boat has been running very good. but i am starting to hear a slight clustered ping when i throttle up. like ...tick tick tic c ti tic... and then fine any thoughts? it is deffinatly coming fom engine somewhere.

What battery is best or correct for my e25eese engine? I cant find the write answer and looks like bombadire has no available manuals for later year models at website. did they take over in 2003? price may be an issue... :(will take forever for me to get my boat in the water....
Ok. 2 more questions, there is something I cant find in parts catalog on evinrude website it is in the front of the motor by the rectifier it looks like a vaccume pump and the ground wire is not connected? any info on it would be great it is a cyllinder with a vaccume line and wires running out...
