I was thinking of replacing my Minn Kota Edge 45 with something with a a iPilot plus. Any thoughts about that or suggestions. I have a 2020 Bass Tracker Classic XL and just would like to have a little more ease of fishing.

Thanks! I think your right. I probably have to to 14' boat. I am a senior and really want to go with steering and trim/tilt minimum. Bought 2021 CRV AWD, so kind of stuck with the max tow weight. More practical.
Yeah, it doesn't have tilt/trim and alternator also. SO I think your right, if I add fish finder, rod holders and have to change outboard. It doesn't work out. It was close but worked. Thanks, first time boat buyer...

I found a pretty nice 1992 Tracker Magna with a 1993 matching trailer. Great price for both but outboard doesn't work. SO my thought was buying an used Yamaha 60 HP 4 stroke and install. The Yamaha costs more than the boat and trailer with low hours.

No it doesn't but my understanding is that CRV EX AWD is great for towing 1500 and under. And yes, definitely getting trailer with brakes! Like I said, most of the fishing will be done within 12 to 21 miles from home and if that works well. Might take it for a fishing trip a little farther out.
