    do i need to bleed trim after replacing trim motor?

    i just changed the motor on my 1979 115 evinrude trim/tilt works in the down position but wont go up. Do i need to bleed the system ? if yes. how? if not what could my problem be? any advice would be great, im dying to get out and get some smallies.

    1979 115 evinrude, replaced power trim motor, but engine wont go up ,

    i just replaced my power trim motor because it had ceased, the motor runs in both switch positions but will not raise the engine, when i lift it manually the engine stays up and when i tilt down it works great but once again when i go to tilt up the motor just runs and the engine wont tilt up...
