    oil leaking from top of lower unit where it connects to upper unit

    I have a 2001 225hp Evinrude Ficht and I just notice a leak of oil at the base of the motor and where the casing of the lower unit is. This is not near the prop or the water intake. I am new to boating and am at a loss if I should take it to the shop for a repair. Just a side note the motor...
