I have a new Maxum with a 4.3L TKS Mercruiser, which is anything but Turn Key Starting! When cold, I have to pump the throttle several times and try at least 4 times to get the engine to start. You have to keep it reved up to 1500 rpm until it reaches operating temp (175 F) before it will idle...
