My dog when I had one would stay in the yard unless lured out with hotdogs etc. He was very territorial and spent most of his time in the yard or the car. LOL

My 2001 gmc still has the original spare, never been on the ground. If I have a flat it's usually a nail or screw that creates a slow leak which i find , plug, pump up the tire and continue.
