The only thing stamped on the thermostat is patent number. It’s a tiny little thing and googling it doesn’t seem to bring up anything even eBay. I wish I could send pics on this site . Wow they fixed it. 😁
Update. I had a blown head gasket & a bad spot inside the manifold at the center port. Someone previously had tried to weld the broken center port devider and that the area I had a previous exhaust leak also. I have replaced the head with a fully serviced ( all new seals , rockers etc. )...

I did buy a battery powered transfer pump from Harbor Freight but the hose size wouldn’t go down into the dipstick. Tried several ways to get it through there but ended up able to get the plug out of dipstick block. Only problem is it’s very hard to get back in doesn’t seem like it’s catching...
Got the plug out not much oil came out but it was milky. Going to pour quart of motor flush in it and see if that will get it cleaner. I will then change the oil and filter and try to run it and see how she does.
