I have noticed that my 82 Evinrude 35hp 2 stroke has been smoking a lot of blue smoke, Is this normal? My fuel mix is 50:1. Could overheated plugs have anything to do with it? I have also noticed a little bit of white smoke and a rough idle.

I was wondering if anyone on here knows if their is supposed to be hoses around the cylinder walls in my 82 evinrude 35 horse? I talked to this boat mechanic and he said that its so the water stays circulating all around the cylinders im not sure exactly what he said but im still having this...
Hi I have been having a water pump problem on my 35hp Evinrude forever and I really dont know what it is anymore.I have replaced the water pump several times and still no luck I tried applying rtv instead of the gaskets and nothing! I also opened up the head cleaned everything out really well...
