when i increase throttle my fuel guage reads higher and higher also my voltmeter goes up to 16v at WOT? my temp guage still doesnt read anything. prior to this my fuel guage wasnt working at all, i think the guages are wired in series and i found a loose black...

i wonder if anyone can help me. i have a boston whaler with 90hp 2 stroke merc outboard - when i turn on the ignition the fuel and temp guage needles immediately go to zero, like theres an electrical fault - but what? what should i check- the broker i bought from said they tried a new fule...
