Hello all
my question is in regard to the throttle assy, made by omc well under the ignition key there is a black knob u can turn. Is this for timing ???
silly question i know but this is my first small boat with an outboard

after cleaning and rebuilding both carbs i still have the crank no start.
engine does start fine with a spray of FUEL mixture (as advised) in one carb.
today i noticed something while turning the ign key i must have pressed it inward and heard a click....im a noob at...
after the boat sits a few days its seems to crank but no start. it does crank very fast and has has good spark so i went to fuel what i found is this,
with a small shot of starter fluid it fires right up then stalls out. i pump the primer ball off the fuel tank and try it again...same no...
