    Mounted on a 1987 Duroboat 15'. Currently running stock prop. Motor is smooth, quiet, and THIRSTY. Ran up and down the Columbia River: 28mph UP, 32 mph DOWN. 7-9 Seconds to get on plain with one passenger at the bow. I don't need a speed demon, but thought it would go faster.     Is this a good deal? Comes with controls and wiring. Extra prop. Just had a fresh service. Anyone think I should bite? I plan to have him meet me on the water so i can run it first. He said he bypassed the oil pump and mixes 50:1. Things to look for? Thank you in advance!

    Hi Folks, thanks for looking. New to me 1987 Yamaha 30ELH, OIl-Injected with remote steering. It was not pumping water so i installed a new water pump housing, gaskets, plate, cup, impeller, etc. Then i ran it in a barrel and it would pee water, but only at half throttle and above, not at idle...
