    Converting 1992 Spl Johnson 28 hp long to short

    I'd like to convert my 1992 Johnson SPL 28 horsepower long shaft to a short shaft. Does anyone have any idea of how complicated this might be and whats involved? I've been using this on my boat that requires a short shaft. I do believe its slowing me down some. Thanks for any help, Ken

    Questions hooking up steering

    I just bought a small 10 ft 2 seater little race type boat. It currently has teleflex steering in it. All my motors are older OMC pulley type motors from the 50's. Is there a way to adapt this with a kit? If anyone has some kind of part numbers that would be awesome. I really dont want to...
