    What prop size(diameter and pitch) do u guys recommend for top speed on my Johnson 112 SPL. Its on a 17ft Sunbird.

    Question about Sunbird Spirit 170 OB

    HI, I own a '96 Sunbird Spirit 170 OB with a johnson spl 112hp. I was wondering what others with this boat or similar boats were getting. I get 43mph max with perfect conditions which seems kind of slow considering the boat was rated at that speed with a 88hp.

    1996 Johnson Outboards

    Hi, I was wondering if Johnson made both the 112hp and 115hp Engines in 1996. If so whats the difference? Thanks.
