The water tube in my 1996 90 HP Mercury has come loose from the powerhead and is not supplying water to the block after after a recent water pump replacement. What is the best way to fix this problem? Is powerhead removal the only method to remedy this issue?
I have a 1977 Johnson 150 and noticed that a lot of fuel leaks from the carburetors when it is raised to the tilted position. It pools in the bottom of the lower cowling and then is released when the motor is lowered, creating an oil slick at the landing.

Where does the power pack mount on a cdi 113-4489 relocation? I have an aluminum bracket and it really doesn't seem to line up with any bolt holes. And there's no picture - ha. It's a 30 HP 1991 Johnson that used to have th ecoil under the flywheel.

I have a 1990 30 HP Johnson that has very little power and a poor idle. I checked the plugs and the bottom one is normal while the top was oily and wet. After using a spark gap tester at 1/2" the top sparks only occasionally while the bottom is consistent,healthy, and blue. Any ideas?

Replaced water pump on my 150 crossflow. There's a lot of water pressure pushing out of the upper lower unit area closest to the transom. Is it supposed to be like this? Note the stream going toward the transom and stream from the downward facing drains.
I installed a BRP water pump kit on my 150 crossflow today. I noticed there was some rotational play in the impeller after installing the plastic key.
Is this normal?
Is it possible to install the impeller upside down or is it tapered for the key to only fit in the proper direction?
