I found new style mercruiser p/s actuators on Ebay with prices ranging from $94 to about $300.
A Google search turned up prices around $300+.
Do you get only what you pay for or do you sometimes pay too much for what you get?

The wood motor mounts in my 1989 Wellcraft 215 Eclipse appeared to be glassed to the hull around their edges but not puttied to the hull as stringers often are.
When I install new wood mounts should I use peanut butter to bed them to the hull?
