I do have both the gas tanks, there was still what once was fuel in both, smelly dirty and old.
Both are rusted inside...

Got it complete stripped and Im sanding off the red paint at the moment, lookin to reflake the top back to original, the bottom part is still in good condition, a little cleaning and buffing.

I ve been thinking and reading the same about the prop release, jj has one that goes inplace of the propshaft connecting collar, ratchet style.. If you have some information about it from jj i might be intrested...

This is the older style toploader with the gearbox. It once had the reverse option, I could see that the box has been opened before, the idler gear and reverse gear are taken out so only fW is still possible.

I have an older square sump Prestolite trim pump and a later style Oildyne with the plastic tank one.
The Prestolite is rated high pressure-low volume, the Oildyne low pressure-high volume
Do the later trim rams have larger diameter pistons to compensate the lower pressure?
Who has a printable template for the two (1") side acces holes drill kit, i need to remove the gimball ring top nut on mercruiser pre alpha, still attached?
Any one used the bravo way on this one or is that a no go?

When looking at the flow diagram for an 888 Mercruiser it just does not seem right to me.
