Anyone know where I can purchase temp sensors for a 100 hp Evinrude 1990 ? Have replaced t-stats twice and pump once in past year. Alarm will sound after about 5 minutes. If you shut it down and let it sit for about 10 minutes and re start its fine. It only seems to do this if it sits for a week...
Trying to replace water pump on 100 hp evinrude. Removed shift pin as instructed in manual. But it will not drop down. There is about a .750 gap and thats as far as it will go. How much force does it take or is there something else that needs to be removed? I went by the manual.<br />Thanks in...
Would it do any harm to remove the thermostats on a 100 hp outboard? If I remove the hoses from the housing there is a good flow but I over heat anyway. My though is if I remove them and run it with no overheating then I know deffinetly its the thermostats.<br />Thanks for all advice in advance!
