I have the opportunity to buy a 2010 Humminbird Lakemaster Wisconsin chip and am wondering if it has the same compatability as the 2011 chip?
Will it work and perform well in a 2011 Humminbird 597ci HD?

I am going to be installing "wedge" style seat bases and pedestals in my boat and am wondering about the stringer configuration.
Each pedestal base needs a 3.5" hole in the deck with 2.25" clearance below.
Obviously, my goal is to stay away from stringers with the hole saw and the mounting...
I am modifying the interior. I want to install removable seat pedestals (Spingfield Taper-Lock).
My question is does anyone know if I have the required 3" clearance below the deck about a foot from the gunwales to mount the seat bases?
