Hi I have a 40hp seahorse I think late 60's was wondering if anyone can be more persice.
Also were these good motors? Anything special I need to know?
Thanks
I was offered a 67 Chrysler 105 for $100
One of the cylinders is down to 30psi, all others around 100.
It has spark and looks like a used Chrysler, nothing to fancy.
I do all my own work but mainly on smaller engines.
Has anybody rebuilt a 105 and were you pulling your hair out, wishing you...
I have a 68 40hp seahorse with no spark on both cyl
its a mag ignition system points seem to be opening and closing fine
where to start?
the wires coming from the motor are
main pos neg
ignition switch
starter solonoid
stop
heat?
I have a 68 seahorse with no spark, however the wires coming from the engine are the big pos and neg, 2 black, 1 brown and one white
when I touch main termanals to the bat it turns over but with no spark
could this be caused by one of the other wires not being hooked up?
I don't want to start...
I just recently picked up a couple of Chrysler OB's for cheap.
I had a 50hp before from the early 70's and it ran great for the 4 years I had it.
How ever people seem to think that Chryslers are just probem engines and unreliable.
Did I just luck out and get a good one, or is their something I...
I have a couple of early 70's chryslers
one is a 4.4 but it spits and sputters mainly at low rpm
could this be carb or spark?
Dose this sound familiar to anyone?

I have a 1971 35 Chrysler that back fired, shearing the keyway and cracking the cam that opens and closes the points.
