    How do you check the coils to see if they are firing correctly? Is there a tool you can by, or how do I do it with a meter?

    the engine will get on step for about 100yds. then lay down real fast and kill the engine. when i restart i can not get back on step. if i shut it down then tilt all the way up and back down, it will start and run on step for another 100yds are so.     early 90's yamaha 15 won't start.

    it started fine when i picked it up about 1 year ago. the plugs are wet and it is not a fuel problem. i don't think it is getting any fire, what and how do i check the electrical????
