I have a 2005 Yamaha 225 VMAX HPDI that has a problem cutting out upon acceleration. It will not get on plane most of the time. I've had it tested by two reputable dealers/mechanics and it is not throwing up any codes on the computer. However, they can't seem to pinpoint the problem, only...
My 225 hpdi has a miss at low rpms. This usually happens when i first put it in gear and begin to press the hotfoot. Then, if I try to get it on plane, it can fall on it's face without backing of the throttle and quickly giving it a burst of gas (as to blow off the plugs) to start to take off...
