75hp Mercury 4 Stroke Engine model: 1F75412YD (year 2001?)
I sometimes have constant beep alarm a few seconds after starting engine (from cold). It does not always happen, and usually stops after a few restarts and engine runs fine.
Oil level ok and it's not overheating.
Some days it happens...
I've recently picked up a 75hp 4 stroke Mercury outboard (2006 ish) for my Shetland 570. When built in 1980 the boat was rated for a 115hp, but I am concerned about the extra weight of the 4 stroke. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.
