just put a 88 nissan 50c on my boat. it runs good and it is cooling well. after reading some of the posts here i seen that pump impellers are nla. is someone makeing aftermarket parts yet?
75 35 hp johnson I just put this motor on my pontoon and everything seemed fine. I had seen it run in a barrel shifted foward and reverse. i put the boat in the lake backed off the trailer and when i tried to shift in to forward nothing. I took the cable off and pulled the shift lever by hand...
i am wondering if you can tell if the water pump is working by running in a tank with without overheating the motor. im hearing that there is no pee tube. just getting started onthis project. cant wait to get this boat floating. i just want to make sure everything is right before i go for it...
