I just had to give a bit of praise to the durability of this engine!! I bought this boat and motor back in 2005 and never started it even then because of the work needed on the transom and floor. The boat is done now and I want to move on to the motor now.

I have an older Motor Guide transom mount trolling motor and want to mount it on the bow.
I saw somewhere that you could reverse the top portion of these types of trolling motors to make it work?
The only issue I see having is that I would have to fabricate a bow mount of some type to mount it...

I finally go to adding pics of my boat pre-demo! It's been torn down and unfortunately I don't have the after demo picks on here and it's now about 75% done (ie. stringers and transome wood have been removed and readded) as you can see.
