    Trying to get this right . I have read alot of post ,utube, manual. At TDC my timing Indicator reads 3. Is this right .....what should it be.... I find so many others saying different numbers

    Just had them all off walls are good . Piston in good shape..just old . To get compression would have to hone and new rings. Did a running spark test and cuts out a little. That's why iam thinking not all are firing at right time ..no back fire ...just rough

    Compression 90s New plugs New trigger Great spark...with gap tester ....1/2 " Carbs rebuilded Reeds perfect Oil mixer ...factory settings Fule 104 octane Timming.... idle 8 high 22 Starts good for a 40 yr old motor Everything checks out good Could this be a electronic issue like idle Control Or...

    Everything else is good the reeds are perfect Good compression on all 6 cylinders

    Awsome THANK YOU Mine is at 7 But still don't Scream like it used to. Rebuilding the carbs right now hoping that solves the problem Melted a piston last year replaced it rings homed out Good compression and replaced the trigger I broke. When I put it on a lake it's only at 75% of its power...
