Evening folks.
So I am building my Lund 16’ pro angler from the ground up.
I have a new in crate Yamaha F50LB to go on the boat - and I am trying to figure out if this thing needs a fuel primer bulb.
I have read that some say it’s good and will add life to fuel pump.
Thoughts?
Set up is:
50hp yamaha
two bilge pumps
navigation ligthts
gps/fish finder
vhf radio
usb charger
I want to run a starting motor (looking for brand / model that you like) and a house deep cycle battery with switch (same brands / model).
cheers,
Good day folks. I am just trying learn and I’m not putting this to action.

1987 Lund pro Angler 16
There is no motor on it - but I have a brand new yamaha F50 waiting to go on it.
Is there any real way to assess the transom without having a motor on it?
I suppose I could pop the top cap off and have a peak - but that’s really only going to show me the very tipy top...
I am re-powering a 1987 Lund 16’ Pro Angler (remote steering / console) with a new 2021 Yamaha F50.
I have no idea what prop pitch to go with.
I have no manual (that tells me that info) and I really have no idea how to go about finding this info.
Any help for a newbie?
Cheers
