1989 Suzuki 75 tiller. Trying to change the water pump. Have all the lower unit bolts off. Unit slides down about a quarter inch and then will not lower any further. Is there a pin or a nut somewhere that I have to take off ?
1982 Johnson 140 V4. Not sure if the throttle linkage is set right or idle screw not right. Where's a good start ? On the dock I can get it to idle, but run around the lake and stop and put into neutral engine idles way to high
HAD THE POWER HEAD REPLACED, AND SINCE HAVE HAD SHIFTING PROBLEMS. I'VE ADJUSTED THE CABLE TO NEAUTRAL, CAN GET FORWARD BUT NO REVERSE. IF I ADJUST THE CABLE TO GET REVERSE THEN I GET NO FORWARD. THERE IS A LOT OF MOVEMENT IN THE SHIFTER LEVER ON THE MOTOR. CABLES ARE NEW. COULD IT BE THE...
