Well...GOOD NEWS!! It floats.... Had her out in the water for a few hours this past Saturday and all is well...once it warms up a bit we will give her a go at tubing. It ran very good and performed very well...checked the speed by GPS...she topped out around 45 mph with myself..the wife..and two...
first time boater here...just trying to properly identify things...could someone please explain what the switch is below the key hole and the one right below it looks more like an electrical connection of some sort... its on a 1974 Glastron which has a 78 model Johnson 70 HP...

jbcurt00..... I have a few pics of here from when I first got her about a month ago...its my first boat. When I got her she had basically been neglected...mostly cosmetic stuff and the guy had started tearing it apart and "painting it"... Ive spent the last several weeks...
well..after some cleaning..paint..and ALOT of odds and ends...( and a few to go)... this boy and this boat are about to meet the water this saturday!!

Hey Josh...welcome aboard...I too just purchased my first boat 1974 Glastron and joined the forum ...been alot of help already....I too will be doing a resto of floor and transom Im sure late fall this year
