    10 hp evinrude, what year?

    The only numbers I can come up with are: 10018-03855, the only number on the side of the cradle which clamps on the boat. Thank You, John W.

    1960 Evinrude Lark II, 40hp - Broken Belt

    Model # 35521. The belt that goes around the flywheel and generator pulley broke . Also the pulley seems to have separated (like into a top and bottom section -- I'll bet that's why the belt broke). How much of a job am I getting into if I attempt repairs myself.     No power at wot

    I have a 1960 Evinrude Lark II 40hp. Idles good, revs up good in neutral also. When I shift to forward I can't go more than about 5 mph. It just started doing this about a week ago. It's been running great for the 5 years I have had it. I haven't done anything new to it recently. I am stumped...
