    Just last night I replaced the o-rings and made a gasket. The pump looks ok but worn-out, can see light through it. So the leak is solved but definitely going to have to rig a pump for it somehow if it starts leaking and affects how it runs.

    Just finished rebuilding the carbs and replaced the solenoid. Started right up, idled a little high but ran nice and the problem seemed solved. Waiting for it to warm up to see about fine tuning and it dropped to low idle and was stumbling and died. I seen it was leaking fuel from the pump on...

    Hi, was wondering if theres a service similar to Mitchell1 for outboard manuals online? I found a link for Seloc Online but it appears it's no longer available. People keep bringing their outboards to me for repairs and waiting on paper manuals is inconvenient. Thanks for any help!

    No theres not. Most accessories don't work and the ones that do are spliced into odd places. Theres positive wires just cut and hanging freely. Its pretty bad.

    Have to rewire an 18' Sylvan. I seen some helpful diagrams. I'd like to learn more about marine wiring in general. I'm an auto mechanic so I'm thinking theres some manuals for education purposes or websites with course material etc. But before I look further on my own I'd appreciate guidance...
